A production house and a brand studio

And experiences become the story.

Where
creativity
meets
commerce.

Who we are

We live in the space between lanes.

Most companies pick a side, creative or commercial. We never saw that as a choice. Calosh is a production house and a brand experience studio in one. What holds it together is simple: we only build things that genuinely move people.

Every project goes through the same filter, is it creatively sharp, commercially real, and does it speak to the culture it's entering? All three, or we go back to the drawing board.

Creative enough to be bold.
Commercial enough to be real.
Cultural enough to land.

The team

The people behind the work.

Dulika Jayamanne

Founder & CEO

Dulika Jayamanne

Most people choose a lane. Dulika built a company in the space between those lanes.

His career spans FinTech and digital payments on one side, and theatre, live production and cultural work on the other. The way he thinks about both is identical: find the feeling you want to create, then build everything backwards from that.

He founded “Beat It Out Movement”, Sri Lanka’s first drum therapy initiative—not to build a business, but to bring to life something the world needed.

Commercial strategy & brand partnerships

Heshan Perera

Most strategists understand markets. Most creative directors understand craft. Heshan has spent 20 years at the intersection of both.

As CMO of Daraz Sri Lanka (Alibaba Group), he produced Sri Lanka's first-ever drone light show, directed the largest celebrity-led commercial production the country had seen in a decade, and led Daraz to Online Brand of the Year two years running, not through spend, but through ideas people actually wanted to engage with.

At Calosh, he is the person who can tell a CMO exactly what the experience will deliver commercially, and tell the creative team exactly what it needs to deliver emotionally.

What we do

Two verticals.
One obsession.

Vertical 01, for brand teams

Stop advertising. Start experiencing.

Brand & product experiences

The problem

Your audience has seen it all before.

What they're used to

  • Ads they skip
  • Logos they ignore
  • Popups they close
  • Events they attend but don't feel

What Calosh builds

  • Moments they choose to enter
  • Brands they experience, not notice
  • Stories they retell afterwards
  • Emotional memory that outlasts the event

What we create: experiential activations, interactive concepts, story-led campaigns, social & digital moments.

Case studies

What people feel is what they remember.

Not what they hear. Not what they see. When a brand is associated with a genuine feeling, that's not marketing, that's memory. We build experiences backwards from the feeling you want people to walk away with.

01 / 03

They wanted presence.
We created priceless moments.

They didn't want run-of-the-mill sponsorship. So we built around what 'Priceless' actually means, owning the feeling of the experience, not just a logo on a stage. Mastercard became the reason the moment felt special.

Stage ownership. Every highlight moment. Every feeling in that room.

02 / 03

They wanted sales.
We made buying feel natural.

Not a booth. Not a kiosk. We designed a lounge where experiencing the product was the point, and buying it was simply the next logical step. The experience created the sale, not the other way around.

Direct sales and conversions. Guests sought them out.

03 / 03

They wanted awareness.
We created shock and awe.

An alarm triggered. Real security personnel responded in real time. Guests experienced the product working before anyone told them what it was. The brief said 'launch an app.' We created a moment nobody forgot.

Immediate leads. Content that travelled far beyond the room.

Any sector. Any story.
One question.

How we work

Five questions. Every project. No exceptions.

Every brief we take on goes through the same first question: what do we actually want people to feel when this is over? Once we know that, the experience designs itself.

What do we want them to feel?

  1. 01

    Decode the brief

We don't execute what you give us. We work out what's actually underneath it.

  2. 02

    Define the feeling

What should people feel when it's over? That's the brief we actually work from.

  3. 03

    Design backwards

Every element, space, interaction, narrative, built to create that feeling.

  4. 04

    Execute fully

We're in the room. On the ground. Not managing a process from a distance.

  5. 05

    Make it travel

Content, follow-through, virality. The moment doesn't end when the event does.

Productions

We spot it. We shape it.
We back it. We build it.

We're not a venue or a logistics team. We're the producer who assesses your idea, works out if it can be more than a one-off, brings creativity and resources to shape it, then puts skin in the game to make it happen.

Show 01

Track ද Improv Comedy

One good show.
We turned it into a property.

We saw it before most people did. Went to the showrunner and said: 'I believe in this enough to put money down.' Then restructured everything, from a hobby into a sustainable model with a 5-year plan, a repeatable schedule, and income for the cast.

6 shows funded. 10-show calendar and national touring planned for Y01.

Show 02

Neo Symphony

He had the vision.
We made the audience feel it.

The showrunner knew what he wanted people to feel when they left. He didn't know how to build every decision around that feeling. We shaped the stage, the lights, the song choices, the program flow, so the feeling landed exactly where it was meant to.

640 seats. Sold out.

Paradox Jukebox artwork

Show 03

Paradox Jukebox

Same conviction.
Different show. Same standard.

Built as its own production with its own identity. Same approach: every creative and execution decision made in service of the feeling. Stage, sound, design, positioning, marketing, all shaped to land what the show was trying to say.

90% filled. 3× online reach. The model repeats.

How we work

The producer role, properly done.

Three people make a show happen: the person with the concept, the creative director who shapes it, and the producer who makes it real. We come in as the producer, assessing, shaping, funding, executing, and we hold your hand all the way through.

  1. 01

    Spot the potential

We assess the idea. Is it good enough? Can it be more than a one-off? Can it sustain?

  2. 02

    Shape the concept

We bring our own creativity. We challenge. We suggest. We make it bigger or smarter.

  3. 03

    Build the model

How does this pay for itself? Can it tour? Can it repeat? We build the commercial logic.

  4. 04

    Back it

If we believe in it, we put skin in the game, funding, resources, partners, credibility.

  5. 05

    Execute and sustain

We deliver end to end. And we build it so it doesn't just happen once.

We turned Track ද? from a hobby into a five-year sustainable property, without a single sponsor.
We shaped Neo Symphony and Paradox Jukebox so audiences left with the exact feeling the show was built to create.

Where we work

Any sector.
Any story.

The Calosh approach

Same thinking.
Two different products.

Most entertainment companies don't understand brands. Most brands cannot produce a show. We built Calosh to sit in the middle, and that changes what we're capable of on both sides.

Is it creatively sharp?
Is it commercially real?
Does it speak to the culture?

All three, or we go back to the drawing board.

Creatively sharp

If the idea doesn't genuinely excite us, we rethink it. No templates, no off-the-shelf formats. We only back things we'd be excited to see ourselves.

Commercially real

It has to work as a business. Good intentions don't pay production budgets. Every idea goes through a commercial stress-test before we move forward.

Speaks to the culture

If it feels imported and pasted in, it won't land. We build things that belong in the room they're entering, that feel native, not foreign.

Let's build something together

Let's talk.

Two verticals. One obsession. Making people notice you.
